Press Information Oracle Corporation: Oracle Recognizes Top EMEA Partners at Oracle OpenWorld

  • Oracle today revealed the winners of its 2010 Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) Partner Specialization Awards at its annual Oracle OpenWorld gathering, the world's largest and most important conference for Oracle technologists, business users, and channel partners.
  • The awards recognize OPN partners who have demonstrated excellence in solution innovation a track record in delivering outstanding customer value, and shown commitment to Specialization.  Also honored were Value Added Distributors for the vital service they perform.
  • The companies named 'EMEA Partner of the Year' across the eight categories, were: Database - e-DBA Ltd (UK), Middleware - eProseed Belgium (Belgium), Applications - BPI OnDemand (UK), ISV - SIV.AG (Germany), Midsize - Sinfo One (Italy), Industry - Capgemini (UK), Value Added Distributor - Avnet Technology Solutions (UK), Accelerate - Inoapps (UK).
  • A rigorous, three-tier, internal judging process by a panel of product, country and EMEA level executives from Oracle Alliances & Channels shortlisted the nominations.  Further scrutiny and review from a panel of EMEA-based judges from global analyst house, IDC completed the process.
  • Winners benefit from a range of benefits including: $5k market development funding for business expansion in other countries; a specific "Partner Specialization Award Winner" advertising campaign; a complementary full conference pass to Oracle OpenWorld 2010 in San Francisco; automatic submission as the EMEA entry to the Global OPN Awards; and a range of promotion through Oracle PR and marketing support.
  • The EMEA Awards were launched in March 2010, and align with the OPN Specialized program which aims to help channel partners establish industry recognition by following a formal process to become differentiated in key Oracle solution areas.

ISV Partner of the Year

Winner: SIV.AG (Germany) - Platinum OPN partner, SIV.AG, is one of the leading German software providers and consulting companies.  Its bespoke software solutions encompass the central customer-related business processes around billing, finance, technical assets, customer relationship management for the energy and water distribution market.  The award recognizes the company's commitment to and comprehensive use of Oracle products/infrastructure.  Since 2009, the development of SIV's kVASY SOA, has been based on the whole Oracle Fusion Middleware stack, and has delivered excellent results with regard to mass data processing, especially in billing, helping by the use of Oracle databases not only for data storage but also for data  processing.
