Developing further market shares in Switzerland

Roggentin, 10 February 2015. SIV.AG is supporting the leading telecommunications company in Switzerland –Swisscom AG – in expanding its modular ICT offer for energy suppliers along their whole meter-to-cash processes.

The company, which employs over 21,000 people, will in future use the industry standard kVASy® owned by SIV.AG for its energy management-to-cash operation. This solution, which is orientated towards the requirements of liberalisation, is marketed in Switzerland under the brand name Swisscom.

“Our joint aim is to provide a competitive service platform – with a standardised, industrialised implementation scenario and the highest level of cost effectiveness,” says Andreas Lehmann, Director of SIV.AG.

Peter Wildhaber, Head of Energy at Swisscom Enterprise Customers, adds: “We are already offering our corporate customers an extremely economic billing model per meter, which is currently unrivalled in Switzerland.” The forthcoming regulatory requirements have created new needs for utilities which should be served with the joint solution. In parallel, Swisscom’s major clients division intends to further expand its own process know-how in the meter-to-cash process and in future offer more services along this value-added chain.

SIV.AG has been a successful player in the Swiss market since 2012.
