SIV.AG: Oracle Partner Network Specialized Global Award Winner
Roggentin, 23. September 2010.
SIV.AG was honored with two of the highest awards at this year's Oracle
OpenWorld, the largest international IT event of the Oracle community.
Jörg Sinnig, CEO of SIV.AG, accepted both the Oracle EMEA and the Oracle
Global ISV Award in the presence of Larry Ellison, founder and CEO of
the Oracle Corporation. The awards were presented in a ceremony on 19
September 2010 in San Francisco by Safra Catz, President of the Oracle
Corporation, and Stein Surlien, Senior Vice President Alliances &
Channels, Oracle EMEA.
With these awards Oracle acknowledges the
convincing worldwide positioning of SIV.AG and its innovative product
development based on the latest Oracle technologies. The company's
market penetration extends from its core market, Germany, to the Middle
East, countries in Eastern and South-Eastern Europe and to China. As a
provider of integral solutions for the energy and water supply
industries SIV.AG sets absolute standards through the highest
performance and efficiency.
The software and consulting house is
connected to the world market leader Oracle by 18 years of a very close
and trusting cooperation. The company uses the database and the analysis
and development environments of the global player. Both SIV.AG and its
customers benefit from the innovative strength and investment security
through a uniform technology basis, integrated business processes and
continuous accumulation of know-how.
There were 87 nominations
for the Independent Software Vendor Award from 22 countries in the
market area of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) alone, which
were screened by an international team of renowned experts. An
independent jury of the International Data Corporation, one of the
world's leading market research and consulting companies, then selected
the winner from the top 3 contestants for each category. SIV.AG came out
on top both for the Oracle EMEA and for the Oracle Global ISV Award.
'We
see the Oracle Global ISV Award as a confirmation of our successful
positioning in the market and of our successful product development
based on the innovative Oracle technology stack', says Jörg Sinnig.
'This stable cooperation means a strong support for us and our
customers. No matter whether there are a few thousand or well over a
million counters billed per month: our users always benefit from a
maximum degree of performance and flexibility and from an optimum
service quality. Now it's a matter of systematically improving on the
level achieved by close strategic cooperation in the further development
of our new management information system kVASy BI and our new product
generation kVASy 5.'
